Salsa champion, fitness instructor, professional dancer, teacher, choreographer and performer. Irene combines a lifetime’s experience of dance and fitness with a profound desire to help individuals to reach their goals and improve their lives. Irene will be teaching a 45 minute workshop and also performing her Solo show at Mambo Vibes Salsa party on Friday 5th March.
Irene began her dance training at the age of six in her homeland of Argentina. She studied ballet, jazz and contemporary dance and both performed and taught from a young age. She moved to the UK in 1991 and danced for prestigious companies such as Sadlers Wells in London. She began dancing salsa in 1993 and was asked to teach for top Latin promoters such as Elder Sanchez. She formed two performance groups – La Dinamica (‘the dynamic’) and Ahora Si (‘right now’) – with a range of top dancers from the capital’s growing scene.
During this time she worked with Robert Charlemagne, Homero Gonzalez, Leon Rose, Tamambo, Susana Montero, SuperMario, Laith Sami and a host of others.
Irene will be providing Mambo Vibes with a tailored 4 hour workshop.

Learn how to Dance like a Latina in this 4 hour workshop covering:
- Dancers Posture & attitude –
- Contrabody Movement maximising Femininity & Grace –
- Hand movement & design - Graceful Arm Styling –
- Music interpretation to include Body Rolls & Head Whips –
- Hip figure of 8 applied to the basic step –
- How to apply all this Styling to both Shines & Partner work –
- Learn a shine combination & different Styling for Partner work -
We will practice in the last hour with men.
Ladies please bring clothes you can move freely and and feel good and high heel shoes
Session starts 11:00am thru to 16:00
It will include 4 Full hours of class tuition with 1 hour allocated for a lunch and short breaks.

Cancellations
Should you wish to cancel your reservation after payment has been made the following will apply:
Canceling up to 4 days before the event, - 75% will be refunded
Canceling up to 24 hours before the event - 50% will be refunded
Less than 24 hours - 0% will be refunded
You may also choose the option to transfer your reservation to another name without penalty
In the unlikely event of Mambo Vibes canceling this workshop your payment will be refunded in full
